News: Rage System Requirements Announced

Bethesda have announced the requirements for their upcoming game Rage. While it may have a post apocalyptic setting the reasonable specifications may not necessarily mean the end of days for your computer.

Minimum:

• OS: Win XP SP3, Vista, Win 7
• Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo or Equivalent AMD
• Memory: 2GB
• Hard Disk Space: 25GB
• Video Card: GeForce 8800, Radeon HD 4200

Recommended:

• OS: Win XP SP3, Vista, Win 7
• Processor: Intel Core 2 Quad or Equivalent AMD
• Memory: 4GB
• Hard Disk Space: 25GB
• Video Card: GeForce 9800 GTX, ATI Radeon HD 5550 

The other requirement not on the list is Steam. While this may have seemed unreasonable a few years ago, given the excellent service that Valve offer this should be a minor detail.

Rage will be released on the 4th of October in North America and on the 7th of October in Europe.
