News: 6,000 copies of Modern Warfare 3 stolen!

Not content to spend thousands of dollars on a copy of Modern Warfare 3 people have taken to high jacking trucks containing copies of the game.

According to Ultimate PS3  two men in masks attacked a driver with tear gas when the truck carrying 6,000 copies of the game (400,000 euros) collided with a car.

That's one way to beat the queues!

Fan or prankster bid $1,725 for a copy of Modern Warfare 3

Some of you may have heard that Kmart, a chain of stores similar to Walmart, have started selling copies of Modern Warfare 3 prior to it's release. Unsurprisingly these copies have found their way on to eBay where keen gamers have been snapping them up. What is surprising is that one bidder has decided to pay $1,725 for a copy of the upcoming shooter.

It's possible that this is just a prankster with too much spare time on their hands but if it's a legitimate offer it just goes to show the lengths people will go to, to get an early advantage. It also gives a good indicator of the sanity of Modern Warfare 3's fan base.
